    "Save The Wolly!"

Thanks to the work of Mayor Tom Koch, the Wollaston Theater has been acquired and saved from the wrecking ball for the time-being. Now the real work begins.

It is the mission and the goal of The Wollaston Theater Foundation, a 501c3, non-profit group to restore the theater to its once former and grand self. We are working to determine the theater’s full and specific potential, but it is our hope that it will become a full service theater for stage productions, a concert venue and movie house.

Restoring a theater of this magnitude will require major community involvement and of course money. The Wollaston Theater foundation is poised and positioned with a detailed strategy that will insure the “The Wolly” once again becomes a vibrant, thriving hub of the Wollaston business district. The fund raising efforts will include a multi-tiered approach. Some examples of that approach will include…

    • Corporate Sponsorships
    • Local, State, and Federal Grants
    • Naming Rights
    • Fundraisers
    • Auctions
    • Donations
    • And In-Kind Donations/Volunteers
